About Me

I am a very friendly person with a little bit of introverted personality too. I mostly enjoy the company of other people, but like many extroverted people do, I also enjoy some solitude moments. So this makes me a person who respects others' personal space, never being nosy. But I truly enjoy socializing with newly met people and to talk about whatever(movies, weather, food, art, politics, pets... literally whatever). It is so interesting and fascinating to me that there are so many different people in the world carrying their own world around with them. Socializing means that I get to see a little bit of their world.
I am also a thinker and dreamer which makes me an artist. I am studying art history and business administration in under grad college now, and I wish to communicate with international artists. Me, myself also paint, but it is not yet professional level. I just enjoy creating a piece of art myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am dreaming of traveling around the world throughout my whole life. However, the way I want to travel is to really submerge into the culture. I don't want to be a tourist, but a traveller. It will be a life-long process of getting to know different culture, place and people, and I am very excited about what is next. I believe that Couchsurfing is a very efficient and fun way to really get to know the local people.

  • making friends
  • reading novels

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie genre is documentary, romance, musical, independent, sci-fi, action movies. Really, I don't discriminate. I like to watch movies more than TV shows because it has all four introduction, development, turn, and conclusion are in one big chunk. I get to concentrate more this way than when it is divided into several episodes. In terms of books, I like to read non-fictional novels or biographical writings of inspiring people such as Patti Smith. I really enjoy seeing movie, book, opera/musical which have common basis. It is so fascinating how different each area is but at the same time bundles into the same stream.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started learning oil painting this year. It was a big step that I took as a person, because it was something that I always wished to do but never really got my hands on. Now that I learned the techniques of oil paint, I can freely express myself and loosen out throughout the process of painting.
