I'm a licensed skydiver, writer, lover of books and avid horseback rider. I love going on spontaneous adventures and doing extreme sports.I've explored 15+ countries and 28/50 US states. I'm a major foodie and Yelper! I'm also a connossiuer of tea. If I had to pick one word to describe me, it would be 'Bon Vivant.'

I've been called an endangered species. . . I've got an old soul.

Fun Fact: Before I started jumping out of planes I did special fx make-up specializing in zombies, blood/bruising and gore .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really need to meet some like minded individuals- I'm currently planning my next adventure and would love someone to have to plan and share the adventure with whether it's for only a short duration or a majority of the trip. I love classic rock ( Led Zeppelin is my all-time favorite band) and most of the grundge bands from the 90s: Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Alice in Chains to name a few.

I also love Alt-J, Lana del Ray and jamming out to Elton John particularly during long roadtrips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I also have a bucket list that currently has 253 items on it to achieve, try and conquor. I started skydiving at the ripe age of twenty because it was the first thing I wanted to cross off my list- now, five years later it's still very much so a big part of my life. My bucket list has always been a sort of life goal of mine. Whenever I am traveling or bored on a rainy day, I look to the list, and pick something I can do to cross it off. I don't ever want to become complacent I believe All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. We must never, ever be boring.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to inspire people to reach "out of the box" and out of their comfort zones in order to live a fulfilling life rather then one spent in front of their television sets with their tv dinners. The world is our biggest teacher and all we have to do is go out there and meet it with open arms. Culture is a beautiful thing. I truly believe you can learn more on the road then you ever could strictly reading about it in a classroom setting.

I am always willing to teach English or how to steep the perfect cup of tea and if you're daring enough I can teach you how to fly!

I always want to learn new skills and talents. I wish I could live a thousand years so I could learn and be everything I've ever wanted or needed to be without time getting in the way.

I want to share my writing and my passion for skydiving with those who are interested or willing to lend an ear.
