I am a local of Monterey, California who sometimes lives in Silverdale, Washington. I was born to a Puerto Rican mother and a German father who tried to instill multilingual skills in me that didn't take hold until I hit my 30s. I work professionally evaluating colleges and universities to help them better their processes and improve student learning and volunteering as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner. When I'm not working, I'll likely be studying for my PhD or finding an excuse to be outside.
