Hi! We’re Monica and Spandan, an adventurous couple with a love for traveling, dancing, and connecting with others. We both are fully vaccinated and work from home, and neither of us smoke. I'm a Medical Coder, and Spandan is a Software Engineer. When we're not trying new recipes together, we're hiking, biking, social dancing, and traveling.

I joined Couchsurfing to learn about the world and meet new people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, dive into my passion for travel, and share my love of life with others, and my partner, Spandan, has recently joined me on this journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We find it incredibly rewarding to meet new people and broaden our perspectives by exploring the world. We enjoy stimulating conversation, learning and expanding our view of the world by interacting with others from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. While we do enjoy the touristy sites, we crave the local gems that often go unnoticed. We prefer to get to know people in the area and share memories. We seek the intimate corners of the places we visit and the joy of connecting with others. Couchsurfers brings people from all over the world together in ways that are enriching, and we are super excited to be a part of this.

Music - We appreciate most types of music, and our moods dictate what we listen to. We like everything from hip hop and country western to salsa and other Latin music to rock and classical.

Books - Any books that promote personal growth. Joyce Meyer, Melodie Beattie, Brené Brown, and Geneen Roth are just a few of the many authors that I like. I also enjoy books about financial growth. My partner enjoys fiction and science.

Movies - Any kind except horror.
