Overview
About Me
21 y/o latin woman. Language, travel, culture and animal lover. I’m eager to know you and share a bit of my culture while learning about yours. Always up for an adventure, a coffee or a chat. I love to learn about new things. Please do text me if interested on a language exchange (I can help you with English, Spanish or German. I would love to learn French, Italian, Swedish or Norwegian from you. I would like to practice Polish and Sign Language (ASL)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a young girl who wants to travel the world on a budget. Last winter, I had the amazing opportunity to solo-travel 10 polish cities (at 19 years old). I think travelling changes your mindset, and staying at local’s makes things even better, as it gives you the amazing opportunity to get to know the country through the eyes of its people. I was extremely lucky to have been able to stay with an amazing polish family during my trip. I can’t wait to see what this year has on stock for me, and how many amazing people I’ll get to meet through this app.
Interests
The things I enjoy the most in life are language learning, travelling and connecting with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Languages are able to change our way of thinking, the way we see things and how we approach different situations. I’ve had the fortune to learn and share from/with people from all around the world. I’ve really grown into the woman I am today thanks to all of them. (I am currently fluent in English, Spanish and German. I’m learning Polish and Sign Language. I’m willing to learn French, Italian, Swedish, Swahili and Japanese.)
It would be a pleasure to have a language exchange with some of you. If you are willing to do it, don’t hesitate on texting me:)
Some of my other interests are:
•Cooking- I love getting to know the countries through its cuisine, I really enjoy cooking the typical dishes with locals.
•Reading- although I don’t do it as often as I would like to, reading is one of my passions, especially when I get to do it in one of my target languages. My favourite generes are mystery and crime.
•Writing- I’ve always found it therapeutic, being able to express myself through words. I enjoy writing poetry, and I try to do it on my target languages at least once a week.
•Nature- Since I live in the city, I don’t get to see the nature as much as I’d like to, but I take every chance I have to go for a walk on the forest, hiking a mountain or simply relaxing at the beach.
