My name is Monica and I currently live in Maine. I love exploring in both cities and nature. Some of my favorite activities are hiking, biking, meeting new people, and eating good food (vegetarian style).

I've spent the last four years or so getting settled in Maine. I bought a house and I found a long term partner. All the while, I've been working as a teaching aid for kids with autism. I enjoy the work and my co-workers, but I am eager to travel again, like I was able to do in college. Back then I enjoyed a year abroad in Berlin, Germany and a summer in Namibia. I look back on those long trips as some of the best times in my life. I know that I certainly can't relive the past, but I think there is wisdom in looking to the joy of my younger self, to point me in the right direction.

I plan to be traveling from September to January. I don't know exactly where but lets start the adventure!
