我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I hope to host travellers once I return home to Vancouver, Canada in the fall, and in the meantime would like to try something different in Europe other than just staying in hostels. I hope to stay with hosts that can provide unique and cool bars, restaurants, and things and places to see that wouldn't be in any brochure or information kiosk.

Love sci fi movies and TV shows, generally read a variety from Stephen King to thrillers, mysteries, YA fiction. Music! All of it! I enjoy going to the symphony, as well as a good old hardcore shows, festivals, pop punk, you name it (live music is king)

I once slept on the roof of my high school with a few friends in a tent. I've also rappelled down a waterfall and rode a scooter through northern Vietnam without crashing once (although I almost fell off a cliff!)

Always interested in meeting new people, learning about culture, history, food, drinks, especially through a local's eyes! As much as possible we like to avoid tourist traps and experience a city in a different and unique way, so we're not just ticking sites off a list and getting than Instagram photo. We can share our experiences as well and we clean up! Brent is a great dishwasher :)

I have kampot pepper that I will share! Also we are very clean and can help prepare food, do dishes, fill your wine glass, pet any animals you may have, clean your windows (partner is a professional window cleaner). We can dicuss or talk about anything you like and are very easygoing and flexible if anything comes up. And beer!
