Update: it has been so long friends. 2021 was the year, after COVID I officially moved to Germany. It was not an easy change for sure for an island girl like me who loves to be around water and sun but I guess 4 seasons country has its offers too. Especially this lovely not so big and also not to small city I began to call home, Aachen. If any of you are ever in Aachen, do hit me up. I would love to show you around :)

I m a mixed Indonesian girl (** actually more to a proud Javanese woman**) currently living as a student in Manado, North Sulawesi. Unlike other girls in my ages, I found myself enjoying the company of books rather than make up. I'd lost wandering into the woods rather than walking the malls aisles. Beach and mountains are my mates. I consider myself as a feminist by learning and doing so please do notice this information: if you are a man, i am a sarcastic woman though I could behave and be nice (if you are nice) but if I am nice to you and want to help you doesn't mean you have the right to hit on me or does something stupid for example making a sexist jokes. It's not funny at all. Be smart on how you arrange your sentences before you speak and think before you act. Do not call me baby or anything else cuz I ain't those things. Just call me Monica it's written if you made time to read my profile. Otherwise I won't hesitate to block you. I throw away toxic people.

I commute everyday to Manado from Tomohon like around 1 hour driving with my scooter. I know its far and driving in the night would be too much. This happened before but just so you know. I usually host people to accompany them to go sight seeing or simply just have a drink in town, I haven't host any in my house. So if you offer me your place to stay the night at ( the hotel) and you're just trying to be nice thanks but I am sorry I would definitely turn down your offer like seriously why would I want to sleep with stranger even in separate bed? (no offense) but if you have another agenda by offering me that trust me I'll know. I can read your filthy brain so I'll just block you right away. Otherwise, I have free time after my classes in the evening and mostly on weekends. My parents are farmer, but my dad used to be an English teacher. Sometimes I bring my friends home and they talked to him while waiting for me to get my stuff.

I have few experiences here. But I have some foreigner friends who have visited Manado.

Learning other cultures and languanges and that having friends somewhere is what I want to have to live and enjoy my life with.

兴趣

I love reading books and watching movies. I love both volcanoes and beach but if I have to choose I've always like beach more to enjoy the sunset while swimming.

音乐、电影和书籍

I listen to any kind of mucic but if you go through my phone you"ll find these playlists below Paramore, Temper Trap, Payung Teduh, Stars n Rabbit, and Banda Neira (only cuz I had this old square thing that couldn't give me any more space)

Books: I read books from Leo Tolstoy, Paulo Coelho, Ahmad Tohari, Pramoedya Ananta Toer, Remy Sylado, Ayu Utami, YB Mangunwijaya, Elizabeth Gilbert and others. Currently reading Jay Asher's book for my academic purpose also trying to save money to bring home Yuval Noah Harari's book.

I watched everything that interest my mind. As a list maybe like Gone girl (read the book also), The Breakfast Club, Dead Poet Society, The Little Prince, Into the Wild, Jane Eyre (the books as well) and lots more the list is endless. But of course GoT will be in my heart for good.
