We have lived long and have roots. It is time to fly.

ABOUT ME

We have traveled a lot ourselves. We enjoy living in Franklin. Our friends all want us to come to their parties because we laugh loud and we laugh a lot. We have hosted many friends, most who don't come through the couchsurfing site. We have loved having friends and strangers in our home, but the time is for us to travel now. We are going to go nomadic for a while and enjoy the adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a series of choices. If we settle for something, our attitude is low, if we choose a path for a reason higher than our own needs we can be at peace that we have served others. There is a time for serving others and a time for taking our own adventures and tending to our own hearts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have had some participation here, but mostly we have had guests we personally know or friends of friends. We met one good friend here. We have also had a couple of young people stay for an extended visit and that has limited our participation. We have enjoyed Couchsurfing vicariously through a couple of friends. We may see about visiting a few folks who will have us along our new journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only had guests in our home. We like bringing the adventure to us.

Mark likes movies - most all of them. We like music, country, folk, pop, theatrical, rock.... and books, they are like good friends and mentors to my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Rocky Mountains always take my breath away.
Poverty - real poverty. Really tough.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach and talk to people everyday. I learn something from my clients and students every time I teach or form new relationships.
