About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore. Create. Branch out. Be bold.

ABOUT ME

23 years old - Irish by birth but European by nature! Born in Dublin, Ireland and currently living in Paris, France.

A very open-minded, chilled out, adaptative, easygoing person. Very spiritually curious. Not afraid of many things, including being alone or travelling solo - these are self-confidence building exercises and make us more interesting and capable people.

Music obsessed - techno / house / psytrance / hard rock are my cuts of choice. Berlin is my musical homeland. Hope to live there someday.

Recently started DJing and hope to make a name for myself doing this. Meantime I get by teaching English to kids. I love my job and would be proud to chat about it!

Bad at dancing but love it anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Need somebody to clear up my impending identity crisis about my accent ....

Just kidding! Couchsurfing is the best way to meet and keep friends and experiences no matter the length of time you spend together. Always looking for new things and people to broaden my own horizons as well as theirs, and share in communal storytelling, togetherness, conversation, just about anything.

Interests

I love to educate myself further and constantly seek to improve myself, mostly through languages. I am a highly communicative person so I guess that's why. I love studying and reading about culture, anthropology, linguistics and social sciences. Music is also a large part of my life, and I have travelled often to pursue musical events, people, experiences and so on...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies & Series:
American Beauty
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Angel-A
The Sopranos

Books & Authors:
9.99
Anything by Eckhart Tolle
Anything by J.R.R. Tolkien (have a tattoo of this that I would be proud to show you!)
Noam Chomsky
Orhan Pamuk
Salman Rushdie

Music:
Techno - anything from Drumcode/Dystopian/Rekids labels. Currently branching out into more obscure stuff too.
Rock - can appreciate any old stuff like Led Zeppelin/the Stones/the Beatles/
etc (deep down am still a Beatles fangirl at times!)
Psytrance - progressive, artists like Ghost Rider, Phaxe, Liquid Soul, etc. You can always dance to psytrance...and I like to dance a lot ;)
House - trophouse sometimes (when its sunny), otherwise some remixes of oldies can be excellent...

Willing to talk at great length about any of the above for any length of time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Paris for a time and have many stories to tell!

Also I got into Berghain...definitely an experience worth sharing. Mind-bending stuff.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always willing to help out with mundane stuff like housework and any minding of pets or children. I can teach you English and French. I can teach you how to make blueberry muffins. I can teach you how to make cocktails and some cool bar tricks! I can teach you how to analyse a film. I can teach you how to look at things differently. Last but not least, I can share my stories about my travels and my life with you, and hopefully hear some of yours in return.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughs. DJ lessons. English lessons. Stories. Good conversation. Food. Just about anything.
