About Me
Been floating through life blissfully and aimlessly for far too long BUT have finally found my place in the larger scheme of things studying what I love (Public Health - what I like describing as being kinda the opposite of doctors: if their job is to fix people once they've fallen ill, ours is to prevent it from happening in the first place), and participating in movements I care about in Narrm / Melbourne, Australia. Still trying to figure out what my side hustle as a millennial is meant to be, probably something that incorporates: crafternooning, food and starting important conversations (three things I enjoy immensely).
I watch way too many documentaries for my own sanity and send a few too many links to friends of inflammatory opinion pieces or dog videos. I'm all about learning, always have been and always will be, and I value the opportunity to learn something new from everyone I meet and pay that knowledge forward too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In short, I've got 'makating paa,' Tagalog for 'itchy feet'. Ever since a student exchange stint in Montreal in 2014, ya girl's been unable to keep her feet firmly planted anywhere for too long before the compulsion to meet new people and explore takes over again. I'm here on Couchsurfing to be a part of this amazing global economy of travellers, trading in stories of adventure and room for board.
