About Me

Hi everyone!

My name is Monica and I'm a violinst turned guitarist turned jazz singer turned designer turned advertising & international studies graduate who is currently working as an Assistant Art Director in Paris.

I love learning and experiencing new cultures. I went on a year long exchange in Lyon, France. Loved adventuring out from the island to explore the beauty the rest of the world has to offer. I'm pretty easy-going and will love anything to do with music whether it be from broadway musicals to festivals to session players. Or even just getting to know people, everyone has a story and everyone is super interesting! It's hard for me to not like someone :)

If you want to stalk me more here's my blog on just music that I like, amateur photographs that I've taken, and drawings that I've done: mlaylas.tumblr.com / mlasuardi.myportfolio.com

I also really like eating.

Hasta la vista

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Live in rural India for 2 months

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play guitar! Speak English, French or Indonesian. Share some good ol' Australian music. I can definitely help with cooking and even more with the eating ;)... and of course help with the cleaning. I'm always keen to learn new things whether it be skills or just knowing about new things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you're a:
- musician
- artist
- in communications
- or none of the above but would love a helping hand

I would be more than happy to help a sista/brotha out.

I also like telling stories and will you tell you anything that you would like to know! I'm a pretty open book.
