Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm interested both in surfing and hosting. Couchsurfing to me is not about getting a free ride, but about interaction between different people, acts of kindness to people you would otherwise never meet and an excellent way to experience the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted much more than I've surfed, possibly even enjoy it more! I hope to catch up on the surfing part though...

Interests

Traveling is definitely my favorite thing to do. I cannot imagine a life without travel. I've visited many places and lived in various places and I'm very grateful for each and every experience. Now besides traveling, I also love swimming in the sea. Might have something to do with the fact that I grew up in Greece... I'm generally a big lover of the outdoors and try to get out as much as possible. Other interests include hiking, running and reading. I also just love spending time with good friends, over food, beer/wine, or just in the car on our way somewhere. I love to laugh and you can always make me smile with a good glass of wine, beer, or -of course- dessert! I think that just about sums it up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am from a country known for hospitality, and this goes both ways. I am a very respectful guest, do not cross boundaries, and do not take things for granted. I generally like to bring a small gift to my hosts, as a gesture of gratitude and to start our meeting off on a good note.
