ABOUT ME

I am a first year materials science and engineering PhD student at Georgia Tech. I love to hike, explore, travel and eat! I am open to meeting new people and doing new things! It has always been a dream of mine to travel the world, but, due to monetary issues, I have not been able to =[. Once I graduate , however, I plan on traveling to many places and expanding my view on the world and all of her people!

I grew up in San Diego, CA and love the ocean. My favorite thing to do is swim alone out past the waves and stare out into the horizon. Also the dolphins in SD are super friendly!

I love to cook for people and I love to be outdoors in the wilderness no matter the landscape or company.

I Surfed in the DC Area earlier this year! It was fun!

Interests

I am interested in singing! It is my number 1 passion in life. I am very interested in women's rights and women's health. I am an engineering student. Materials are an interest of mine because they are everywhere and everything. I am also interested in having fun! I love to ski, hike, surf, swim, shop, eat, cook, and hang out with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked Mount Whitney in 14 hours. Best and Worst thing I have ever done. Let's just say I had "Caress me down" by Sublime stuck in my head for the last 3 hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share what I find interesting about current Materials Chemistry and Engineering and how it relates to our everyday lives. I can share my gift of song and hopefully sing along with others! I very much enjoy hearing people sing. And I can share my favorite fun adventure spots in Southern California (hint: BEST BEACHES)
