About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Staying authentic and true to my ideals and passions in life while contributing in some small way to making the world a better place for us all to share.

ABOUT ME
I currently live in Genoa, Italy with my boyfriend and my two canine companions.
But starting in 2020, I will be backpacking across Northwestern Africa with my brother David for a few months!

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The idea that there are individuals willing to open their homes to strangers without an economic motivation behind it kindles my faith in the kindness of humanity.
I've couchsurfed with a few people so far and I am extremely grateful for the experience and looking forward to opportunities to pay it forward.

Interests

I'm really into circus arts and street performances. For the past 5 years, I've been involved in running a free, open space where people can practice, exchange skills and start projects together.

Dogs have played an important role in my life since I was a young child and I have a great interest in dog training, behaviour and psychology. It's also been a lifelong dream of mine to get to know horses as well as I know dogs and learn to interact humanely with them.

I also enjoy conversations with people who believe that we can improve the world we're living in for everyone and share the beauty of life, among other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of the books that have influenced my life views are The Story of Stuff by Annie Leonard, Moneyless Living by Mark Boyle, The Sunhitcher by Tomi Astikainen, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle & The Ascent of Humanity by Charles Eisenstein.

Currently my favorite music includes Nahko Bear, Trevor Hall and Satsang; I like to listen to reggae as well and dance to techno and goa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled along the coast of Spain for about a year, starting the trip with just my backpack, my canine companion and 20€ in my pocket.
