I am a laid back adventurous spirit with a passion for fun and a voracious appetite for experiences.

Some tried and true hobbies of mine include writing, sketching, hiking, and video games. However, some of my more recent toe dipping includes line dancing, bourbon, and investigating starting my own business. Basically, leave no rock unturned and don't diss it until you try might as well be my mantra.

I currently work in the tech scene but have worked in the automotive industry and retail worlds as well.

I have two cats, which I think is borderline cat lady status, but until a third one materializes I am not taking that title. (A third cat will never materialize) They live with me in a home I purchased in 2014.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have friends who have traveled the world and swear couch surfing is the most magical and enlightening way to explore new places. How could I not be interested in that?

Personally, I am always willing to let friends or family crash at my place, and have a network of friends who I stay with when I travel to cities they reside. I figured expanding interactions and connecting with more people could only lead to fulfilling quests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a road trip across the US by myself, stopping to see as many "World's Largest _____" "World's Smallest _____" and other quirky claim to fames small towns had to offer . Bopped around living a few places before settling down in the Midwest where I currently reside.

I can share stories, the ability to cook a decent meal, a genuine interest in others, and a lively personality that will appreciate the opinions and suggestions presented for the area you reside.
