About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have to learn how to combine my adult life with my mentality of 23 and never ending will of travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I suppose the same reason as most of you.

Interests

Primarily travelling. When I studied I loved hitchhiking and did it very often. I still love it but there is no time for spontaneous 2-months trip like that and it's painfull to me. But even if I don't hitchhike all the time during journey, I do it sometimes and I'm still backpacker of course.

I love get to know different cultures, lifestyles, especially in different countries. It sounds like corny story, but that's the best part of my life which makes me really happy.

Moreover, I love festivals (with hippie spirit). Especially Polish Woodstock Festival which is my favourite, and Guca Trumpet festival in Serbia.

I like hiking and feel very very good in the mountains and hills, love firecamps, guitar evenings and campings (sleeping in the tent, preparing food etc).

I like dark sense of humour.

I'm interested in politics and everything which is connected with sociology: people behavior, social processes and sometimes I automatically see things through the prism of social studies stuff.

Maybe it sounds creepy, but I'm keen on death topics and I'm also interested in passing away in present and past societies.

And many many others. Come and see :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Best authors of books: Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Graham Masterton, Neil Gaiman, Zygmunt Bauman, Jacek Piekara, Andrzej Sapkowski.

It's hard to figure out my movie taste, but there are some parts of the cinema that are constantly on my subjective top. Among them are Tarantino films (each of them), czech movies, zombie movies and b-class horrors.

Favourite series? Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Trailer Park Boys, Better Call Soul, Breaking Bad.

Music? Mostly rock, sometimes good electronic and balkan rythms. The band I'm commited to for many years is Kult (polish one).

I'm not a gamer but my favourite one is Left4Dead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did motorbike trip through Vietnam (bought a manual motorbike without any idea how to drive this shit and was wandering from the Noth to the South for over 2 months).

Probably I wouldn't have done it if I hadn't got some training and a lot of support from the cool tall guy (thanks Guus!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Wanna learn? Ok, some polish words of course, bases on guitar (I'm actually on upper-basic level). How to prepare dumplings? (tell me before because I have to ask my mum).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Poland, United Kingdom
