Overview
About Me
I am a full-time student at Iowa State! Currently studying Political science with a minor in statistics, attending a Masters program for Political Science in the summer.
I love traveling, I spent last summer traveling through Israel, Berlin, Budapest, and Amsterdam. I absolutely love the outdoors and spend all my free time climbing, hiking, biking or just being outside. Unfortunately, I live in Iowa so these activities can sometimes be difficult (especially in the winter) but I do my best to stay active all year round.
Food is something very important to me, and I do my best to eat as healthfully as I can. This usually includes a lot of fermented foods, homemade kombucha is my favorite type of ferment but I'm not a very picky when it comes to fermented foods. Though I like to eat "clean" I am not very picky and as a college student can chow down on just about anything!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am working on a research grant this semester, "Disease, Epidemics, and Immigration Policy in America", the research abstract was accepted for the National Conference for Undergraduate Research in Kennesaw, Georgia.
I received enough funding from my university to buy my conference ticket, but not enough to afford a hotel or Airbnb so I have turned to the lovely people of Georgia to help an undergraduate researcher present her research!!
