My name is Monika. I live in Poitiers since 2005 and i love the cultural and associative dynamics in my town.

My dad is french and my mum is English so i can talk both langages.

My job is singer/musician in several bands (rock/ pop ; jazz; oriental music...) and i also make shows for children (drama and music)

I travel quite a lot through France to work or for holidays. And that' s great!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I decided to be on Couchsurfing after diverse discussions with friends. They convinced me that it could be a good experience. So I read some articles on the net about that, and I finally logged in!

For me, it's an opportunity to meet people from the entire world and invite a certain atmosphere of sharing and travels into my flat without booking any flight!

Moreover, as i also travel a little bit, i thought that i could sometimes try Couchsurfing instead of automatically booking a hotel or a guesthouse!

Interesses

What i love the best is music ! I play the piano, guitar, ukulele, percussions, à little bit of accordeon, and I sing.
I love all kind of music... And i love to discover foreign artists that I don't know.

I also like sports, lindy hop, dancing, cooking, trekking, sharing time with friends, parties, travelling and to discover new countries, animals, ...

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love rock music, pop, jazz, classical, world and i also listen a little to reggae dub music... I like reading but i don't find the time to do it more often, i love films, documentaries...

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

When I travelled to Koh Tao in Thailand, i did some snorkeling with my boyfriend just for fun and we met a big shark...!

I also participated to the twentieth Birthday of the fall of the wall in Berlin with friends and that was awsome !
