About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Never lack appreciation of Earth's beauty or failed to express it!
Still on a road to change the way of thinking to always (no matter if We feel like in seventh heaven or completely embittered) remember and have a red light in mind that very little is needed to make a happy life and it's all within ourselves, in our way of perception.
MONIKA: My life revolves around self-improvement, all the time; if you get to know me you'll notice right away ;-)
Traveling, learning and endless developing are the words which as I suppose could define my personality.
☯
Even though I'm passionate about education what is associated with a passive style of life I find it possible to do in quite an active way. Connecting that being close to nature make me fulfilled, I'm trying to be outside as often as it's possible, sometimes just with a book or notebook but more often with someone to talk or do training. I really enjoy deep conversation with people but walking in silence also is a gift.
I like to do things the hard way, I think it helps me understand how we got here. I want to know why things are they way they are.
PHILOSOPHY
Tough one… mmm broadly speaking, I think my philosophy is based on being open-minded, respectful and on keeping the willingness to learn. I've decided to live my life in that way because I find kind of absurd to be quarreling who has the correct/wrong idea about anything and because I suppose we're here to learn and to thrive. So, why not take and try what the world and life are offering?
WOJTEK:
Hi! I am a 22 years old Polish guy, almost graduated from a Medical emergency diploma and currently working party - time as a lifeguard and I am a member of the volunteer fire department. I am easy going and open-minded person who is eager to taste the life.
Actually, I live in a little village near Białogard but the city where I' m studying is Szczecin. I find this city on of my favourite ones. Nevertheless, I'm hungry of discovering other breathtaking places.
In my spare time, I never feel bored. I'm happy with anything what the world is offering to me! It's not my habit to just stay at home. I want to make the most of my life so I spend quite much time with my close friends but I easily get along with strangers. Sometimes only a language is the barrier. It's hard to say, but my English language skills are not very good.
The good thing is that sport is able to connect people and we don't have to communicate very much.
From time to time I take part in kayaking trips, go swimming, running of just walking but cycling is my first and foremost form of activity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We want to share experiences and make friends from all corners of the globe. By the way, it's very important for us to continually improve language skills. Why? The answer is very simple - through being fluent in communities language it becomes possible to really get to know the traditions, habits and other tidbits of life of the residents . The limit of words is the limit of discovering.

Music, Movies, and Books
MONIKA: I couldn't live without fictional narrative around me: I go through a lot of books. I like everything that is hard to understand, explain something to me that I had not conceived of before.
The books that appeal to me the most are "Other Songs" a novel written by Polish science fiction writer - Jacek Dukaj and "Hunger Games" by the American novelist Suzanne Collins.
When it comes to movies I find films directed by Christopher Nolan unquestionably the best I've seen. Especially "Inception" and "Interstellar"
WOJTEK: I prefer films like for example The Lord of the Rings , Gladiator, Troy, Hobbit, 300, Law Abiding Citizen, The Twilight Saga, Games of Thron Serial,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
MONIKA: I live my dream life!
WOJTEK: The first thing that comes to mind is saving human life. It's the most beautiful thing someone can do for others, so my dream is to work in a profession that allows me to do it on a daily basis.
Teach, Learn, Share
MONIKA: I can teach how to speak some words/phrases in Polish, how to do manual decorations and bracelets with mouliné ; I can share time to walk, visit places and explain things; I'd like to learn who you are and the things you can do.
WOJTEK: I am keen on learning anything new, and keep improving all the rest!
I would be glad to teach anything, but I guess it will be easier with sports (cycling, kayaking...) or even lifesaving for the nerdy ones =)
