My name is Monika. I live now in the beautiful country in Poland - Poznań.

My lifelong mission is quite simple. I want to be a good person and I want to be happy. I think that if I am good for others, this good will back to me anyway. I also really care about our nature. I try to segregate and recycle everything what I can. Now I am a big fan of being zero waste or at least less waste person. :) I know we should start everything from ourselves because that's the begging of good changes.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love the idea of meeting people from different parts of the world. I have already met many wonderful people thanks to couchsurfing and I want to meet much more. And there is no better tour guide than the locals - I can meet new cultures, discover things and places which without hosts probably I would never have an opportunity to discover.

Interessen

I finally found my favorite sport - slackline which is also good for my health. I really recommend it :)
I also creating genealogy trees of my family. I'm doing this for over 7 years but it always takes a lot of time to find your ancestries and I don't regret any spent hour on it but I really like it!
I started also learning to play the violin. I used to play on the guitar but it was quite hard for me because I have small hands ;p And the violin? That's it! I loved it from the first sight, hmm.. I should say from the first play :D

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I don't have a favorite genre of music. I listen the music depends on my mood. If I want to focus on doing something I listen to movie, classical or dubstep music - anything without words. :) If I want to do exercises I listen to pop music.
If I'm sad I listen to sad music etc. etc. ;)
My favorite movies are: "The Theory of Everything", "Big Hero 6", almost all Marvel's films, "Chappie", "Intouchables", "Inception", "Seven Pounds", "Deja Vu" , "Transformers" and maaaany more ;)
From books I like reading fantasy, sci-fi and guides about personal development.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went on paragliding flight* ;) It was amazing. The view, flying, a feeling of freedom - everything :)
*yeah, that was before I met a slackline :D Now for me the highline slackline is the most amazing thing I've ever done - being on the line 30 meters above the ground :D
