About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see the world, one couch at a time

ABOUT ME

I'm 23 years old and originally from Detroit, Michigan. My love for traveling and learning new places and new people from all over the world led me to live abroad after graduating college for the year. Thus far I am enjoying living in Zwickau, a quaint little city in eastern Germany, in which I have a great group of friends and a nice home base. So far I am having an awesome time exploring all that Europe has to offer with my backpack, friends, and open attitude in tow. I enjoy being outside, rain or shine (though preferable in shine), and whatever the activity may be. I am always up for new adventures, new foods, and cultural awakenings. I am looking forward to getting to know new places in the world and meet a wide array of unforgettably cool people along the way. Cheers!

PHILOSOPHY

work hard, play hard, learn a lot

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm a straight up surfer, but I look forward to returning the hospitality when I have a couch to share in the future :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just started couchsurfing this past year and have so far couchsurfed in Romania, Bulgaria, Istanbul, and the Czech Republic. It has been awesome to meet so many interesting and kind people during my journeys, and to learn so much about each country at the local level. Thanks to amazing hosts, I have spent great days and nights wandering streets of new cities, climbing mountains at dusk for an unforgettable skyline view, having my fortune read out of a coffee cup, and drinking probably more beer than my body weight in one weekend. Above all Couchsurfing has put me in touch with a community of like-minded people who I will never forget.
