About Me
What can I say, really? Here are the essentials: my spirit animal is the elephant, I was born in Thailand, but it's something I tend to forget or feel a bit weird explaining at government offices, I don't get the term "expat," and fully identify with my immigrant life. I love to read, more so now that I actually have some level in Spanish and am discovering this new language. I'm a sucker for poetry. I love gelato, and will look at all the flavours at least 5 times although I will always ultimately end up ordering chocolate. I'm currently teaching English and finding that I like it, although I still firmly believe that I haven't quite found my true calling. Some careers I'd like to explore next would be sand-castle competition judge, new nail polish colour name picker, and maybe pillow tester.
