ABOUT ME

I am 33 years old and I come from Barcelona, actually from a small city in the pre-pyrenees, Berga, which is close to the mountains in the north of Catalonia.

I enjoy meeting new people around the world, being part of nice adventures as I love nature, throwing parties as well as chilling-out after a proper meal.

I lived alone in Barcelona because of my studies and then I moved to The Netherlands to develop my career. Now I am settling down in Vancouver with my Italian guy, Marco. I enjoy meeting new people and discovering different cultures and couch-surfing experiences bring this up just so easily that I love it!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a kind of person who loves learning about all. I am curious, if I don't know about something I'll try to discover it. I love sports, specially swimming and fitness in general.

I also spent a considerable amount of time in the kitchen as I like to cook fresh products and eat diverse food. I like to learn about different gastronomies and then cook my own fusion dishes!

I have mostly hosted in CouchSurfing but I have also experienced it the other way around and it has aways been amazing! I love meeting people this way. If someday you need get a couch in Vancouver, please just contact me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen different kind of music: rock (Led Zepellin, Nirvana, Two Gallants, The White Stripes...); alternative (The X.X, The Tallest Man on Earth, Nick Drake..); reggea (Bob Marley and The Wailers, Damian Marley, Alpha Blondy); Spanish rumba (La Pegatina, Los Delincuentes, Canteca de Macao) and Nina Simone, Ben Harper, Ane brune to relax. I also enjoy deep house or alternative electronic festivals. My favourites are Tale of Us, Mano le Tough, James Blake, John Talabot, Nicolas Jaar, among others.

About movies, I prefer thrillers but I also like good comedies sometimes.

I like reading realistic novels that make you think deeply and I also enjoy reading scientific articles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Hiking/mountain-biking/kayaking in Laos with amazing people
-Staring at an active volcano in Guatemala for the whole night at nearly 4000m high
