ABOUT ME

I'm a small town girl living in a big city. Well...Winnipeg isn't that big, but compared to my little town it is. I always try to have fun and be happy.I always want to learn about new things and see new places. The world fascinates me and I want to explore it.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live my life in a way so that I am always happy. I always try to exercise the child in me, keep my mind at peace and stay away from negative thoughts. Sometimes that is all hard to acheive, but a little patience and pratice and surrounding myself with positive people is how I do it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to help fellow travelers see where I'm from and meet people when I'm traveling. This project is great. It helps us to see the world in a different way and to build a better understanding of what goes on around the world when we travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed lots with friends living in Winnipeg when I lived in Lorette. It made it easy to go out. With the project I've been all over Europe now. It made my trip a real pleasure. It's so much fun meeting people. At home I've hosted twice and really enjoyed it. I hope to host again soon. So far it has been lots of fun!

兴趣

Well...I like to travel. Besides that I like all kinds of stuff: going out with friends, anything to do with music (playing, listening, live, recorded, old, new...), reading, fishing, camping and the occasional scrap booking.

My music ranges from rock to jazz to folk; my books from biographies to fantasy to thrillers; my movies are mostly based on books. I have too many favorites.

Drove 7 hours to Minneapolis with my friend, stayed for 12 hours, saw my favorite band, drove 7 hours to get back home.
