Overview
About Me
Hi friends! I'm originally from a cute little city in Louisiana and am currently a senior majoring in philosophy at Princeton University. But that's the boring stuff. Aesthetics and storytelling are my buzzwords. I am passionate about studying, seeking and creating beauty in the world and empowering people to share the beauty of their own narratives. Unsure what this means for my professional career, but I can see myself equally happy as a professor of philosophy, film director, restaurant-bar-café owner and/or youth basketball coach.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love striking up conversations with interesting people that I don't know...it kind of just happens randomly. I'm using couch surfing to give me a platform to learn the stories of interesting people more formally and to be a resource for people to love the area I live in just as much as I do.
Interests
I'm the biggest fan girl of (locally owned) coffee shops!!! I also love all things hip-hop and all things dance (esp. watching, choreographing and doing hip-hop dance), making short films, reading anything good, talking to strangers and thinking about the big questions in life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I consistently love Hip-Hop and Soul/R&B, I study to film scores and classical music (esp. Hans Zimmer and Audiomachine), and I enjoy a wide range of alternative rock and non-cheesy pop music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Berlin one summer, I went to a secret, unmarked "cinema" that required me to climb through the window and say a code word in order to enter! It was something like a hybrid between a hazy home movie theater and a speakeasy. Still unsure if it was in someone's home. I wanted to ditch the touristy stuff and blend in with the locals!
Teach, Learn, Share
Love God. Love People. That's what the cross has empowered us to do!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think a lot (hence the philosophy background), but I love people too much to stay in my head. I can talk philosophy, faith, art, sports or be an active listener as I learn about whatever it is that makes you passionate. For me, the best conversations and relationships have less to do with how much we have in common and more to do with how passionate you are about whatever it is you're passionate about. I'm excited when you're excited, whether that thing alone excites me or not.
