Hi Folks! I'm Monique. I live in São Carlos, in the state of São Paulo, in Brazil. Actually I`m a doctorate student in Transportation Engineering. After I achieved a Master`s degree I went to live in the U.S. It was from 2011 to 2014. It was a great experience. I met a lot of people, I got to know many places, I made great friends who I'm still friends with, and I'm looking forward to getting to live new adventures, and meet up new people and places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well .. Even I've lived abroad I didn't know CS (Shame on me !!!)
Couple friends who I met in the U.S (a German and a Chilean girl) are coming to Brazil in few days. They will stay from Feb 11th to March 5th), and they were the one who introduced me to this amazing page =)

We will be traveling during that days and I'll be showing them what the most beautiful we have in Brazil. The plan is to take them to São Paulo, Rio, Buzios, Ilha Grande, Angra dos Reis, and beaches in São Paulo like Ubatuba, and they still wanna go to Florianopolis.

They don't want to stay in hostel because they have done CS before, and they loved it. So we will appreciate if we make new friends and find a couch which we can use, maybe in your place =)

And if you ever come to my town, your are more than welcome to stay w me.
