Update (February 2024):

After hitchhiking from Mexico to Nicaragua, living in Colombia for 4 months and hitchhiking back via the Pan-American highway to Brazil, we are currently doing a short hitchhiking trip through Europe :)

A little about us:

Hey :)

We are Wolfgang and Monique. Monique is 26 years old and is a charismatic, happy and friendly girl from Brazil. Her boyfriend is Wolfgang from Austria, he is 24 years old and despite coming from a much smaller and colder country than Brazil, his heart is very big, the size of our dreams. In 2021 we travelled together through Mexico and Central America for a few months. We've already hitchhiked and couchsurfed and really enjoyed it.

We love cooking and taking a unique trip so that it is remembered as special to us.

Depois de viajar de carona do México até Nicaragua, morar na colombia por 4 meses e voltar de carona pela Pan-Americana para o Brasil, Wolf está atualmente na Austria (Viena) e Monique no Brasil (Belo Horizonte). Compartilhamos esse perfil juntos, bem como nossas vidas, histórias e sonhos :)

Atualmente quem recebe é somente a Monique (Belo Horizonte). Moro com minha mãe, próximo a lagoa da pampulha que é um ponto turístico da cidade. Tenho interesse em fazer amizades e realmente receber as pessoas retribuindo tudo que já fizeram por mim :)

Somos Wolfgang e Monique. Monique tem 26 anos e é uma menina carismática, alegre e simpática de Minas. O namorado dela é o Wolfgang da Áustria, ele tem 24 anos e apesar de ter vindo de um país bem menor e bem mais frio que o Brasil, seu coração é muito grande, do tamanho dos nossos sonhos. Em 2021 viajamos juntos pelo México e América Central por alguns meses. Já viajamos de carona e com o Couchsurfing e gostamos muito.

Somos de boas, adoramos cozinhar e fazer uma viagem única para que seja lembrada como especial para nós.

I am always willing to talk and open to new phases, lives and wisdom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something incredible we did together was climb the Acatenango Volcano, in Antigua Guatemala, one of the highest volcanoes and close to Volcán de Fuego, one of the most active in Central America. We went up and down in the same day, it was 10 hours of trail :)

Algo incrível que fizemos juntos foi escalar o Vulcão Acatenango, na Antigua Guatemala, um dos vulcões mais altos e próximo ao Volcán de Fuego, um dos mais ativos da América Central. Subimos e descemos no mesmo dia, foram 10 horas de trilha :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Wolfgang is from Austria so he can give you advice on traveling around his country and Europe in general. Furthermore, his native language is German, so he can help with that and also in English.

He really likes different cultures and is very curious like me, so he can teach and also talk about many subjects :)

Monique can teach you things about Brazil, not only cooking, but also making travel recommendations, places to visit and talking about the country's culture and teaching Portuguese, dancing forró, drawing and explaining architecture and arts.

Wolfgang é da Áustria, então ele pode dar conselhos sobre como viajar por seu país e pela Europa em geral. Além disso, sua língua nativa é o alemão, então ele pode ajudar com isso e também em inglês.

Ele gosta muito de culturas diferentes e é muito curioso como eu, então pode ensinar e também falar sobre muitos assuntos :)

Monique pode ensinar coisas sobre o Brasil, não só cozinhar, mas também fazer recomendações de viagens, lugares para visitar e falar sobre a cultura do país e ensinar português, dançar forró, desenhar e explicar sobre arquitetura e artes.
