About Me

I am a very easygoing person, it is hard to list things I don't like doing. I like either taking a walk on a park or on the beach, watch a movie or go to a party, drink beer or tea, talk and laugh or share moments of silence... everything has its right moment. I guess I am more shy than an expansive person, but I am a very good listener and love to connect with other people. I am a very curious person, willing to pay attention to whoever wants to share ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that sharing is the most beautiful way to live and learn with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love brasilian music in general: Alceu Valença, Maria Bethânia, Caetano, Gil, Sérgio Sampaio, Jorge Ben Jor, Criolo, Alessandra Leão, Eddie, Nação Zumbi and a lot of others. I have interest in getting to know any kind of music, specially latin music.
The movies I most like are dramas. Blue is the Warmest Colour, Blood Diamond, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Dirty Pretty Things are the recent favorites.
Books are a passion. The kind of literature that investigates the human in any of its aspects interests me. Authors like Cortázar, Borges, Virginia Woolf, Italo Calvino, José Saramago, Milan Kundera, Tolstói and Fernando Pessoa facinate me. My favorite brasilian books are "Caderno de um Ausente", "Eu Receberia as Piores Notícias dos Seus Lindos Lábios" and any Clarice Lispector's books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to share anything I know... I could share a little about brazilian culture, music and literature. I can teach how to make "caipirinha" and "tapioca", brasilian popular food. I can even teach how to play chess, if anyone may be interested hahaha
I am interested in learning anything, from organic plantations to quantic physics.
