About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get to know Rome, fight complacency, step out of my comfort zone, live a different life, meet new people and visit exciting places before I return to the US in May!
ABOUT ME
American, Irish/Welsh/Polish/Italian descent. Currently studying English Literature and Greek and Roman Classics at Temple in Philadelphia and am in Rome for a semester abroad. Working as a legal assistant at home, getting a taste of life as a lawyer, and am excited to pursue that passion and go to law school after I finish my undergrad next year. Friend, daughter, sister, granddaughter. Ardent fan of Pablo Neruda poems. Love nail polish colors but hate painting my nails. Coke not Pepsi. Believer that no day is complete without cheese. Wannabe wine connoisseur. Lover of clothes and shoes but can never decide what to wear. Tea drinker, especially Harney and Sons hot cinnamon spice tea. Dog and cat owner, really enjoy taking my dogs (Hippie and Cole) for walks. HUGE Philadelphia Phillies fan.
PHILOSOPHY
Right now I agree with Anthony Bourdain:
"Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life - and travel - leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks - on your body or on your heart - are beautiful. Often, though, they hurt."
Interests
Mobility, sarcasm, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, trying new foods, hiking, skiing and listening to Radiohead and the xx.

"Yeah," my father said. "She was keeping the rest for herself. Nobody can give everything away. It ain't healthy."
