My husband and I are artists, writers, authors, teachers, massage therapists, and travelers who closed our Massage Therapy business in the U.S. in 2016. Since then we have spent 5 months in New Zealand, 5 months in Indonesia and 4 months in Thailand - most of it house and pet sitting but with a Workaway thrown in here and there.

We've done a lot of traveling but we don't consider ourselves tourists. We don't rush to see everything there is to be seen although we're not disinterested - we love learning the history, geology or about the nature of an area, but we're not ticking things off a list. We really have found that there's nothing like meeting the locals of an area and couch surfing seems like a good way to do that. We've also done some Workaways and volunteering which are both fabulous for meeting people.

In 2016 we closed our Therapeutic Massage business which we opened in 1991 in the U.S. after living in the same town for 11 years, got rid of all our belongings and started to travel on a very small budget.

Teach, Learn Share? Those are the reasons to live and to travel! Our natural inclination is to learn about ourselves, others and the world we live in and to share information - we've done a lot of teaching and mentoring in our lives. We also continue to learn and study as we travel with online learning platforms.
