I'm a Designer, Architect and Installation artist from India exploring modern design and fabrication tools, smart materials through my post graduate program. I studied advanced digital fabrication techniques using robots and computational Design. I had my own practice called UrbanBox Design Studio (now known as Ant Studio) before I decided to take a break to study and travel (2015-16). Travel and exposure to new cultures taught me a great deal about design and people. I look forward to continue with this experience to find new inspiration in design thought and forms.

I like to meet artists, designers, programmers. I love to meet fellow designers and architects from other parts of the world and see what they are doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and like to meet people from different parts of the world and know their cultures. I have hosted a few people with my friend while I was in India. I really enjoyed doing it and I was fortunate to meet some amazing people. Maybe now it is my turn to explore the this part of the world and I looking forward to meet people and share our journey at this beautiful intersections!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas. The only fat book I can read again and again. Not a vivid reader. I enjoy heading only during my travels.

Movies: ALways up for a good movie. Ironman is my fav! I like marvel's movies and sci fi fiction Interstellar, Gravity. The god father triology and 12 angry men are my all time fav. etc etc etc

All kinds of music. Classical, Rock, instrumental and Western. Not a big fan of trans. Favorites artist like U2, Coldplay, beatles, Pnk floyd, Tracy Chapman, Porcupine Tree

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably riding 2000 kms on a 30 year old heavy motor bike to Leh-ladakh in the Himalayas!

Travelling alone in most parts of Europe and south east Asia are some of the most beautiful experiences.

I cook Indian Cuisine and Im curious to know other cuisines. Learnt a few while in Barcelona in the last one year. Im an installation artist and an architect by education. I love to listen to the travel stories of others and share mine.
