Music, Movies, and Books

Movies -
I'm a Woody Allen freek:)I simply love that guy and his sense of humour,
Monty Python's Flying Circus is a must!
I like so many different movies... where to start? Akiro Kurosawa, Jim Jarmush ... sometimes I like a good thriller - it all depends on my mood.

Music-
I fell in love with the band from Ukraine - 5'nizza and I can't get rid of them:) their music is contageous!
but I also love jazz especially the jazz divas from the old days and Franky, of course.
I cry when I hear 'nessun dorma' or 'va pensiero' (ok, ok, you can stop laughing now:)
I have a great sentiment for Pearl Jam - was in love with the vocalist all through my high school:)
I dance salsa and can't sit still hearing latin sounds!
"Chicago"- I'm addicted to that movie and its soundtrack; Zaz is my latest French discovery; Freddie Mercury gives me energy for the whole day- especially when I can't get movin' :)
and so on, and so forth....

Books- wow- a difficult task again!
"100 years of solitude" - amazing- I keep coming back to it from time to time
I would have to think it over and make a shortened list:)
Right now I'm reading history of Japan and a paragliding handbook!:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Unforgetable trip from LA to NY! Impossible to list everything I saw and did during that journey - but that was really something!
And of course flying! Being up there, and having that marvelous feeling that everything is possible!

Dreaming about a motorbike trip from CHICAGO to LA! anybody? :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn as much as possible about the places I go to- the people, their everyday life, customs, culture, art, music and cuisine - I love cooking and collect regional recipies from all over the world. Language- another thing that makes your stay abroad worthwhile - even if you only know a few words.

Countries I’ve Visited

Afghanistan, Austria, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Poland, United States
