ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Monja. I am german and currently living in Munich where I study environmental engineering. I discovered couchsurfing while I was working as an au pair in New York. I have been on a lot of weekend trips all around the United States and loved the couchsurfing experiences I had. In my free time I love travelling around the world, spending time with my friends, reading books, listening and singing to the radio and just enjoyig life in general!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I can't host at the moment because I live in a pretty small appartment, but I would like to meet up with you and show you around in Munich, if I am free.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my time in the US, I surfed some couches and it has always been a great experience. I loved the hosts who spent time with us during our stay. Our host in New Orleans for example showed us around the city, we cooked together and we went clubbing. Another host took us surfing and on a hawaiian house party. I really enjoyed those experiences, but I can totally understand if you don't have that much time.

Interests

I like travelling, hanging out with friends and doing things I have never done before! If I travel around I am never without a good book and my music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the most amazing thing I have ever done was definitely the decision to spend one year as an Au Pair in the US. I have become part of a great family, found new friends, had great trips and expriences and found a home away from home.
