Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I don't really have the option to host, since I live with my parents, but I might be able to offer a couch or a mattress at a later time, when my situation changes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed or hosted yet but have met a few very friendly couch surfers who stayed at a friend of mine in Vienna.
For me, it was always interesting to hear their stories about backpacking through Europe and to learn more about their countries (e.g. who knew that the only place in Singapore where you can buy chewing gum is a pharmacy).
I enjoyed being able to help them make their stay in Vienna even more worthwhile by taking them for a swim in the New Danube on a hot summer afternoon, or up to Leopoldsberg to show them a panoramic view of Vienna at night.

Interests

I like swimming, rowing, watching TV shows (V - The Visitors, Family Guy, Big Bang Theory,...), photography, meeting friends, going out, cooking, and traveling :)
