我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

just in surfing and hosting when it's possible for me to do it. sometimes i go to the meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well..I hosted more than surfed till now, and every meet has been original..sometimes yellow, sometimes blue, sometimes violet, sometimes red. I never had any black or grey. (well..maybe i had grey)

兴趣

i'm interested in cultures, and not just for the differences between mine and the others. for that i'm graduating in anthropology. i would consider myself lucky if i would get an employment in a cooperative organization.
i'm studing how to play saxophone, and i like to play guitar sometimes.
i'm getting more and more interested in the arab world, and i hope to travel in it, as to travel in general.
and then...usual things, music, cinema, friends, family.

Movies: movies by Emir Kusturica, Tarantino, Tim Burton, Oliver Stone, Cohen Brothers, Kubrick. Some musical movie like The Blues Brothers, The Wall, Tommy. movies with Antonio Albanese, some with Benigni, and some italian classic.

Music: Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Cannonball Hadderley, Baba Zula, Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, Ray Charles, Creedence, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Herbie Hancock, Goran Bregovic, Kiss, ecc ecc

Books: John Steinbeck, Orwell, Kafka, Nick Cave (yes, he wrote also), Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Pirandello, Primo Levi, Verga, Murakami, Kureishi, Harper Lee..and others.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I travelled through the outback, , that is...red. The sky there was so big. I floated on the reef in the north of Queensland, with funny round yellow & white fishes that cames lookin with curiosity, like :-O ,the traffic of Napoli, Gracia(Barcelona) during the catalan festival, the hospitality of the middle eastern people (syrians in particular), some crazy festivals in towns around Bilbao...and some amazing eyes around the world.

to teach...well are you interested in what Levi Strauss, Malinowski & Co. thoughts about cultural relativism? yes?! great!...you can ask those things to my flatmates :)
