ABOUT ME

I'm 27, currently a law student at University of Connecticut in the U.S.

I'm doing a semester abroad in Tilburg, Netherlands at the University of Tilburg.

While I'm in Europe I am planning on visiting U.K., Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Greece, Belgium, and really any other European country that I think I might enjoy.

I am open minded to other cultures, languages, and people. After all, we have to share this world together. In fact, one of the main reasons I decided to take part in the exchange program is to meet different types of people and learn different cultures.

I was born in India, and spent most of my childhood in Mumbai. My family moved to the U.S. in 1998 and have lived there ever since. I finished high school and college in the U.S. and now I'm almost finished with law school. I'll never have this type of opportunity to spend 4 months in Europe again, so I want to make the most of it while I'm here.

In Tilburg, I have accommodation and will be hosting fellow couchsurfers when I'm not traveling myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once so far in The Hague with an awesome host and it was a great time! Hope to keep it going :-)

Movies: Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Inception, The Green Mile, The Express, Any Given Sunday, Old School, The Hangover, and many many more

TV Shows: Entourage, Dexter, Weeds, The Wire, Californication, there are others I am forgetting.

Books: I don't read a lot because I'm a law student and I read enough boring cases but when I did have time to read I loved the Kite Runner (my favorite book ever) and also Life of Pi, Maximum City, The Namesake.
