Overview
About Me
I’m a health and science journalist, from Atlanta mostly. Before moving to Brooklyn, I lived and traveled throughout Southeast Asia.
I love finding new uses for old things and scavenging treasure from the neighborhood. I read the news voraciously, and I love to cook and host dinner parties. I have four cats and too many houseplants to count.
When I travel to a new city, I must: read the newspaper, go to the art and natural history museums, thrift/go antiquing, eat street food, and see a movie.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met so many amazing people during my travels, and I would love to meet more! Plus traveling is expensive. I want to pay it forward and help out other people who are wandering on a budget.
When I’m in the midst of traveling, I want to meet local people from as many places as I can.
