About Me

Hola, I’m a Mexican woman from Oaxaca.
I studied law at university and I’m also a lover of films, walking and making friends too.

I love going out for walk, drink coffee or beers (cheers!) and also share my city with those who visit us, maybe riding bikes together?

I’m an enthusiast for life and art, street art is one of my favorites too so if you want I can take you with me to my favorites spots.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even I haven’t been active for a while I’m still loving this way to connect people so if you come to Oaxaca and want me to join and take you to my places, write me a message :)

I enjoy meeting new people and helping them too. I like to hear stories about life experiences and share mine.

I have made really good friends thanks to Couchsurfing and I think that’s all about, it's an easier way to connect people and I’m grateful for being able to connect with extraordinary people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Latin American literature is my favorite but I'm open to new books all the time.

One of my new favorites books it’s Flâneuse, if you like walking and if you are a woman you must read it.

I like rock, pop, indie music, folk, latin rhythms... I can listen Florence and The Machine (cause I love her!), Beirut, Badbadnotgood but also Caloncho, Los Cojolites, Silvana Estrada, Silvio Rodríguez you name it. And if I’m not used to your kind of music I’m all ears, let’s share.

I'm a movies fan.
Have you seen “The Shoplifters”? I loved that movie and I’m also a fan of Greta Gerwig.

Here are some recommendations and also my list of really good movies:
•A girl walks home alone at night
•Pájaros de Verano
•Los reyes del pueblo que no existe (in case you like documentary)

And I can continue but I’d rather to talk to you so if you likes cinema too, don’t hesitate at saying hi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being part of the International Fair of Book in Oaxaca the documentary film festival Ambulante and OaxacaCine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can speak English fluently and obviously Spanish, just a little bit of French and I’m still trying to learn German.

I like sharing my time consciously with those who I met, so I can share my vision of the world and listen and learn from yours and in that way open my mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can take you to museums, historical places in the city, local markets while I teach you Spanish and typical Mexican phrases and also learn from you and your culture.

Countries I’ve Lived In
