Hi, my friends call me Cookie. I live and work in Durham, NC and I work a lot. I am a bit of smart...I have a wry, sarcastic sense of humor, but I'm pretty easy to get along with. I just moved into a new place and am still unpacking, but I'm getting there.

I don't currently have any pets, but I really want a little dog. I had one previously and she has gone off to doggy heaven. I read a lot, so there are LOTS of boxes filled with books. I also have pretty darn good cable and I know my town and the good places to eat and hang out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing because I would like to see a little bit more of the world. I have a traveled a bit, but I definitely want to do it more and often. Visiting some place that I have never been is a good thing as far as I am concerned. Couch surfing also helps me afford to take some trips that I really want to take.
