About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to learn german and survive the summer

ABOUT ME

I am a bassoonist currently studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of music. Other than my life of despair trying to conquer the double reed, I enjoy many joys of life. I've been glued to a bicycle almost my entire life, and have just recently found the pleasure of fixed gear, photography is a obsessive hobby where perfection can never be reached and a life in the woods away from the city where you have to rely on what you can carry, is one that everyone should partake in every once and awhile.

PHILOSOPHY

To learn, to travel, to live:to live, to travel, to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Participation through sharing and traveling, learning and teaching.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My surfing has been relatively calm, nothing to big just going bouncing from friend to friend occasionally for more than a month.

Interests

Music, music, music. . . just to name a few. I also like biking, photography, hiking, cars, surfing, explorations of any surrounding.

Music, Movies, and Books

My list of music is best reserved for conversation, though a few simple ones to list are the works of: Brahms, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Ravel, etc, etc, etc, etc. Also to be supplemented with a share of hiphop, rap, techno, rock and others, Muse, Queen, Blue Scholars, Immortal Technique, etc.
Movies: Boondock Saints, Fight Club, Akira Kurosawa's Dreams, a Requiem for a Dream, Train Spotting, and more than I can currently think of.
Books at the moment are solely related to school and studies, which means lately I've been reading large quantities of Roman history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A month in Thailand, living in a Northern village at the end of the road teaching, living, learn and becoming family.

Teach, Learn, Share

Bassoon It's my life I like to share it. Other than that I know a little bit of bike repair and a lot of home maintenance.

Countries I’ve Visited
