About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life and meet new people

ABOUT ME

I am a very active, inquisitive person who loves adventure of all kinds. While I love the outdoors, I am also quite happy curling up on the couch with a good book or movie. My friends would say that I am genuine, sincere, shy, and brave to be going on this journey to Turkey and Europe by myself. I am a very spiritual person and pray and meditate daily. I am a mother, a teacher, a biker, a friend to those in need, and in general a "good" person.

PHILOSOPHY

Live a spiritual connected life in harmony with those around me, with Nature, and with God. Dalai Lama said, "People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they are not on your road doesn't mean they have gotten lost."

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to acoustic rock and country, but I like all types of music. I love going to a coffee house, listening to live music, and having a cup of chai.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my Harley through Death Valley in Nevada. This may not seem like something amazing, but it was to me. I was on a three week adventure exploring all the national parks in the western part of the United States. I was traveling by myself. I had a backpack and tent packed on the back of my motorcycle and camped along the way. When I entered the southern border of Death Valley, I saw a sign that said I needed extra gas and water to travel through. I didn't have either. I was afraid, but I went through anyway. I didn't see another car, person, animal, or hear another sound for two hours as I traveled through that desolate and beautiful country. The complete and utter silence and enormity of aloneness was an amazing experience I will never forget.
