To meet and enjoy people all around the world.

ABOUT ME

My husband, Don, and I are both retired teachers. We have enjoyed traveling and have been to 100 countries and all of the United States. We have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

PHILOSOPHY

Presently we feel it is important to make others comfortable. Family and friends are a priority. I also want to show people of the world that someone from the United States is kind, considerate, and polite.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are happy to host Couch Surfers. We live on a beautiful lake that is nearly midway between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have stayed with CouchSurfers in Amsterdam, Moscow, India, Namibia, Tbilisi, Qatar, and California.. We hosted a family from Germany. The German Family was delightful. Since then our hosting experience has grown to include people from many countries and many parts of the United States.

Interests

In the summer we entertain friends and play golf.Our winter fun is downhill skiing.

I like to sew and we both like to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently my husband and I rafted 260 miles through the Grand Canyon. It was an 8-day trip through white-water rapids.

After our next trip we will have seen 100 countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share typical home-cooked meals, history of our area, sports such as fishing, boating, skiing.

We want to learn about new cultures, food, and history.
