About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make as much music as possible and to move gracefully through life. . .

ABOUT ME

I make music with my hands, and my voice and my heart. I work with young people to help bring out their talents and to have pride in who they are. I have been in performance troupes for ages and love creating community dialogue through both theater and music. I moved to Costa Rica in 2005 after living in both Seattle and NYC.I taught at two schools in the area and used the arts to build bridges between communities.

Currently, I am getting my feet wet in Accra, Ghana. . . .

PHILOSOPHY

Live well, be kind and follow your heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 1988, I heard Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" blaring over a truck radio as we camped out on the border between Burkena Faso and Niger. My friend Brian and I danced under the stars and moon while our Tuareg traveling companions looked on and smiled. I can still taste that moment.
