About Me

ABOUT ME

Well, I'm Margriet

What else to tell...

Check my profile and I'll guesse you'll still have to meet me than, to know who I am :)

PHILOSOPHY

Try to lose the weight, so the wind can take you to whereever you're best in place

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done so much of 'official' couchsurfing. But I've invited some people who I've met in the streets of Nijmegen to crash at my place and on my last trips there was always some one who offerd me a roof and became my hero for the day, by doing that.
By CS I hope to meet more hero's and to be one myself.

Interests

I can't be to long without friends, family, freedom, nature, dancing, music, cooking, walking, sleeping outside and the Waal (it's a river nearby).

People are my biggest interests! And lucky as I am, they seem to be every where:)
That's why I picked 'social work' to be my study and now to be my job.

Music, Movies, and Books

To me, music is the most important out of these 3. I like to keep my ears open for all kinds. The cd's I've heared last; Jehro, Babylon Circus, Angus and Julia Stone, Portishead and Skunk. Now Eddie Vedder is starting to get me in the mood to sleep...

For movies it's the same story; I like to keep my eyes open for all kinds, although I don't watch a lot of tv. I really, really liked Triplettes de Belleville, Anyway the wind blows, Green Butchers, Moonrise Kingdom and Gadjo Dilo!

Reading books, I have difficulty keeping my eyes open:) Hermann Hesse succeded to write 2 books which kept me awake all the time: Siddhartha and Demian. And of course Le Petit Prince took my heart!

Now I've just read the first 2 books of Anastacia, written by Vladimir Megre. Wauw!!!

Also I like to read and watch;)my books about plants an birds.
