Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To expand my universe infinitely and maintain a profound appreciation of all things
ABOUT ME
I love life, especially people, but also art, philosophy, religion, comedy, poetry, music, sports, food, work, and sharing experiences. Meeting new people is a thrill, and I love the feeling of wonder a new place can give me. I spend most of my time reading or writing music, but I also love to go out for meals, spend time outside, visit churches, try new things, etc. etc.
PHILOSOPHY
I am still so young, but to me it appears that love opens the gates of the world of happiness to the lover, and that everything becomes more vibrant and lovable the more you love. I try to appreciate everything deeply, and to aim for greatness within myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My lovely air mattress is available to any and all who would like it, and if there is time I love to show people around my city. At the very least I will provide travelers with a safe, clean, and comfortable base of operations for their trip.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with couchsurfers on a ten day trip to New Orleans, LA, and saw the city ina completely different light than I may have in trying to see it on my own. I was taken to poetry readings, hole-in-the-wall restaurants, outdoor concerts, museums, beautiful neighborhoods and wonderful parks and forests. The experience totally sold me on couchsurfing, and since then I have hosted about 5 different groups in Montreal, all with great enthusiasm and reward.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love most movies and music, and I read voraciously, anything that I can get my hands on. As long as something is a real quality piece of art I think I can learn to appreciate it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is difficult, but one memory that is particularly warm to me right now is that of sharing a simple meal of some rice and cooked fish on the banks of the Mekong river in Cambodia with my family a couple years ago after a day of biking through the countryside.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't pretend to be able to teach anything profound, but in sharing moments of joy and happiness with each other I am sure we can learn a lot.
