ABOUT ME
I'm a 5th generation Montanan who LOVES living here. That being said, there is so much world out there, and I try to get out as often as possible and spend a couple months every year overseas. I've been lucky enough to find a series of truly satisfying small jobs that still allow me to live a vagabond lifestyle. I like a good brew, a good book, good folks, and bad karaoke. While I can get rowdy with the best of them, I'm also the kind of guy who your granny would love... Naturally gregarious, curious, self-sufficient, kind, respectful, and proud to announce: recently housebroken!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm always trying to find the balance between work and play, between quiet contemplation and howling at the moon. Life is too short to take yourself too seriously...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I strive to make people feel at home, help them explore Missoula, and make their visit here a highlight of any trip.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't surfed yet, but have had WONDERFUL experiences hosting folks; swapping stories, trading insights and sharing the highlights of my little mountain Shangri la.
Interests
I do a lot of Theatre projects, big and small, and love going out to our favorite dive bar for cheap drinks and raucous karaoke. I love travelling, meeting diverse and interesting people, and sharing insights about this human experience. Walks in the woods, potlucks, floating the river, mini-road trips on Sunday afternoons... anything that keeps life interesting!

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh my... hard to pick favorites, but love the new Indie/Folk/Rock movement, cheesy Sci-Fi flicks, goofy novels and eye-opening non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in a van in New Zealand for a year in my early 20's. It was my first time overseas, and I learned so much about myself and the world. Mostly, I discovered that no matter what color, nationality, religion, socio-economic class or whatever... Folks are Folks. And most folks are flippin' amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I always carrying a 12' length of thin, sturdy cord while travelling. Light, compact and comes in handy more often than you'd think...
