ABOUT ME

I'm currently a Masters student in my hometown of Buffalo studying Urban Planning. I have an interest in former industrial cities and how to built upon the assets of what was built for future generations within the community aspect. I'm a bit of a wanderer especially when checking out the built environment.

PHILOSOPHY

"matte shikashite kibouseyou" meaning Wait and Hope. Though waiting and hoping for something gets you no where.
"À mon seul désir" meaning "to my desire alone" I'm a romantic I guess lol.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done a few meet ups in Glasgow with the Photography group there. In addition to that I've meant great people in Kiev and Tartu.

Interests

I'm interested in Anime, music from different countries such as England, Russia, Sweden, Japan, Korean and Germany (a bit). Photography, architecture, urban planning, movies, beer, wine and cycling. Wandering around new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Metropolis (both the anime and the 1927 film), Resident Evil movies, and any random sorts I can't think of right now.

Music: Way to many to list.
Books: 1984 and The Count of Monte Cristo are my favorites.

Anime: Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Gundam 00, Gundam Unicorn, Mirai Nikki, Shakugan no Shana, Code Geass, Hellsing Ultiamte, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Gankutsuou, Angelic Layer, Jyou-ou-sei, Beck, Black Lagoon, Tsukihime, Hikaru no Go, Sword Art Online and many others.

TV: How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, Futurama, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Merlin (BBC), Archer, Big Bang Theory, Castle, and Dexter.

Studied in Glasgow, Scotland as a part of my undergraduate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to continue to learn how people live in their communities and how the planning field differs across the globe.

If I'm in Buffalo (which is rare these days) I would show anyone around. It's a beautiful City that many people just pick on all the time. Lots of culture and beauty for anyone to see.
