Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A miser collected five crore rupees by being miserly throughout his life. Thanks to this money, he started dreaming of playing the flute for a year without doing any work. But before he could decide to invest that money, Yamdoot knocked at his door. The man requested Yamdoot to give him some time, but Yamdoot remained adamant and did not budge. The man pleaded, 'Give me three days of life, I will give you half of my money.' But Yamdoot did not pay any attention to his words.

The man then prayed, 'I beg you for one day of life. In return, you take all the money I have earned through my years of hard work. Yamdoot still remained firm. After much prayer, the man got just enough time from Yamdoot to write a message. Wrote - To anyone who receives this message, I would only say that do not be concerned about adding wealth throughout your life. Live every moment of life to the fullest. Even my five crore rupees could not buy one hour of time for me. Earn money, but also enjoy life, because the opportunity is not in the future, but in the present.

1. ) If you love the body, do asanas, if you love the breath, do pranayama, if you love the soul, do meditation, and if you love the divine, do surrender.

2.) Any work should be done without any desire for results. If you want to achieve success in any work, then concentrate only on your actions because the thought of desiring results in your mind can divert you from your goal.

3.) The beauty of hands does not increase in ornaments but in charity. Purification is achieved not by applying sandalwood but by bathing in water. A person is satisfied not by feeding, but by giving respect. Salvation is not achieved by adorning oneself but by awakening mental knowledge.

4.) Any person should be identified not by his body but by his soul. People should understand the inner mind of man instead of getting attracted by the body.
