About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To soak up all the world has to offer.

ABOUT ME

The main pleasures in my life are meeting new people, seeing new places, listening to incredible music and eating/drinking good food/drink. The staples of any good life i reckon, and if i can combine them, then all the better.

Very in to reading and finding all out i can about the madness that we all live in and hearing different points of view and approaches to life. International Relations are my main study interest, along with different cultures etc. Never pass on an opportunity to experience an adventure life throws up!

Studied and worked in England before deciding to seize an opportunity to take a couple of years off and see the world. Currently in the states after 6 months in South America and looking forward to taking everything this rich country has to chuck at me.

Love to cook and the travels so far, have led me to believe that i'd like to start a restaurant in Buenos Aires, Argentina (One of the reasons for the trip is to find out what i'd like to do after). Obviously i'm more than happy to practice ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

"do unto others..." You know the rest - a central part of most religions but written before most of them too....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Will look to host couch surfers on my return to England.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite films are probably City of God, True Romance, Good Will Hunting, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Pulp Fiction.... There's always about 20 films in ya top 5 tho right?

Love Blues and Jazz and hoping to see a lot in Louisiana. Also love Rock n Roll, Ska, Reggae and Hip-Hop. Some examples; BB King, JL Hooker, The Stones, John Mayall, Toots and the Maytals, Roots Manuva and The Cat Empire.

Every human being should read Shantaram, Truly amazing book! Other favorites are Life of Pi, Amsterdam, White Tiger, Island by Aldous Huxley and On the Road

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tupiza to Uyuni 4 day jeep drive in Bolivia, across the most incredible scenery I have ever seen. changed from driving across 5000m snow capped mountains to neon blue arsenic lakes to blinding sand desert landscapes minute to minute and ended at the largest salt flats in the world.......... Having said that, the week of summer solstice at Stonehenge and Glastonbury festival will always hold a special place in my heart!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can play the drums and cook, both to a fairly decent level, more than willing to share these skills!

I would love to develop my spanish (and any other language) further so if anyone can help this all the better.
